Think back to a training program you particularly enjoyed, one where you felt totally engaged in learning, and where you actually remembered what you learned.  Chances are, that effective program was led by a facilitator rather than a traditional trainer.

Facilitation is a structured, learner-centered process for engaging learners and enabling retention.  It’s how we get learners to own the content and the responsibility for learning.  It’s an important skill for 21st century Learning and Organizational Development professionals, both within and outside of the training environment.

This workshop will help trainers expand and practice their skills for effective facilitation. This engaging program will cover:

  • Training vs. Facilitation – What’s the difference?
  • Facilitation skills to guide learning and engage learners
  • Incorporating facilitation into traditional training programs

Join us in learning and practicing the skills of facilitation!

Date:

Friday, July 19, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Location:

Webster University, 32 Discovery, Irvine, CA  92618
