Come join us for a festive celebration full of activities and inspiration.

This meeting meeting will include:

•        Lights, Camera, Communication! An invigorating and interactive session of improvisation will sharpen your skills as director and scene master in your leadership role. More info below.

•        Meeting old friends and new! Our networking opportunities will include our trademark Structured Networking. Traditionally, many past presidents and members join us for this happy event, so you may see some old friends, too!

•        Celebration of ASTD-OC 2012 highlights including volunteer recognition, new officer installation, and visioning for 2013.

•        Featured Holiday Charity: American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy Relief

Hurricane Sandy has displaced thousands of families along the Eastern seaboard and caused millions of dollars in damage. The American Red Cross continues to focus on reaching as many people as possible who need their help.

Financial donations make the greatest and most immediate impact, helping the Red Cross provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance to those affected by disasters like Hurricane Sandy. At this month's meeting will be holding a raffle to raise money to help this worthy cause. 

  • Raffle tickets: 1 ticket for $5; 3 tickets for $10; 8 tickets for $20
  • There will be 7 prizes:
    • 2 copies of Playing Along: 37 Group Learning Activities Borrowed from Improvisational Theater Izzy Gesell
    • Fierce Conversations: Achieving success at Work & in Life, One Conversation at a Time, Susan Scott

  • Payment can be made by cash, check (payable to ASTD-Orange County), or credit card (receipts will be available for tax deduction purposes)
  • The raffle will be held at the end of the meeting and you must be present to win

About the Speaker: Robin McNatt is a senior organizational development and human resources professional who is most recognized for her ability to get things done. Her dynamic career includes developing executive leadership, designing and implementing integrated human resources systems and facilitating organizational change. She is also the Founder of StyleLaughter Improvisation Comedy Troupe and performs shows to raise money for nonprofit organizations in Orange County.
