Effective coaching involves asking, not telling, reframing the picture and telling the truth.  Organizations have used coaching as a tool for developing leaders for decades now, both as an external resource and now as an internal management skill.  Increasingly, leaders are being encouraged to coach their employees as a means of providing feedback and are tying the coaching process to solid business results. In this session, we’ll explore how two Orange County organizations are:

  • evolving the use of coaching
  • internalizing coaching as a leadership skill to solve specific business objectives
  • training their leaders how and when to coach

Our panelists will share best practices and we’ll invite participation from the room to explore the latest trends in coaching as a leadership skill, providing participants with solid ideas that can be applied in their own organizations.
