Do you want to leverage gamification techniques, but face the challenge of time, resources, and buy-in to create complex training game scenarios? Join us as we hear from Scot Maurath, Director of Learning Design at BDS Marketing, who will bring and demonstrate real-world examples of gamification in today’s complex, busy, and fast-paced work environment. He will walk us through today’s meaning of gamification and where gamification is going in the world of training and development.

This program will help you improve your ability to:

  • Break down a gamification initiative for your organization to quickly gain support.
  • Learn how to chunk the gamification process into manageable pieces (of both time and budget!)
  • Identify and avoid the pitfalls and hazards that lead to the failure of gamified programs.
  • Understand and incorporate the key strategies for successful gamification within your training programs.
  • Include implementation and success metric measurement plans in gamified training design.

About Our Speaker:

Scot Maurath discovered his passion for training and gamification while managing golf courses: educating people in the game of golf and training and developing employees to do the same. For the past 11 years, Scot has worked with BDS Marketing where he created and managed training programs for Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo, and Mercedes’ US Dealerships. Most recently, he launched the Learning Design Department which won the Stevie Award for "Best Training Website." Scot pulls from his BS in Marketing from San Francisco State University and his CPLP to create game-based education for amazing and award winning results in the business environment.
