One of the biggest challenges facing an organizational development practitioner is guiding a company to embrace learning and development. Even outstanding learning and development efforts will be limited unless senior management commits to a learning vision and culture.
Ed Rodriguez, Vice President of Organizational and Leadership Development at Ventura Foods, provides a real-world primer on launching a learning and development culture and vision. His presentation focuses on lessons learned during the implementation of an L & D vision.
Ed’s discussion focuses on securing executive sponsorship, establishing a clear link to the organization’s strategy and vision, and leveraging a leader-led approach. Ed and his team’s actions resulted in a successful launch and commitment to a learning and development vision.
His presentation outlines a development framework that leverages strategic partnerships with external subject-matter experts to design, align and deliver effective organizational development solutions.
Attendees are provided specific tools for the alignment of L&D efforts with organizational strategy and vision.
