Due to a person issue, the presenter cannot make it and unfortunately we need to cancel this session.

When you train, you reveal things about yourself. You may not mean to, but you do. And the things you reveal create an impression of yourself in the minds of your participants.

Think about trainers and other presenters you’ve learned from. During their sessions, you formed impressions of them, perhaps that they were:

  • A little self-involved
  • A tad insecure
  • A fountain of wisdom but humble nevertheless
  • Someone you wish you knew in your personal and professional life

Come to the Trainers’ SIG meeting on May 16th, and we’ll:

  • Discuss the things you say about yourself that create those impressions
  • Cover tips on when to talk about yourself and when not to
  • Practice using and not using the magic word that alerts learners to the fact that they’re about to learn something about you:  the word, “I”
